Obituary

Eloise J. Rose (née Mytz)

May 28, 1941 – October 27, 2025

It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of Eloise J. Rose on October 27, 2025, at the age of 84.

Eloise was born on May 28, 1941, and lived a life defined by kindness, quiet strength, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved. She is survived by her son James Tesluk (Cheryl), and her grandson Brennan Tesluk (Anastassiya).

She also leaves behind her beloved niece Barb Stupar, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.

Eloise found her greatest joy in the simple, beautiful things—spending time outdoors, tending to her garden, and relaxing at her cherished cottages in Grand Beach and Winnipeg Beach. She had a lifelong love for animals and shared her home with many cherished pets over the years, each of whom brought her great comfort and companionship.

Her hardworking nature and selfless spirit were evident to everyone who knew her; she never complained and never wished to be a burden to others.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jolly Marchuk for her friendship, care, and support throughout Eloise’s later years.

A small private service will be held at a later date for close family and friends.

“When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up the grass and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time when they're supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind-songs they whisper to us, don't miss me too much. The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.”
