August 23, 1954 to October 24, 2023

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eric Cecil Spence. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.  Eric is predeceased by his parents Cecil (2010), Irene (2023); and his brother Jack (2018).  He is survived by his son, Sasha, and his daughter, Cheyenne, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; his sisters, Debi, Reeva, Louise (Dave), Kelly; his brothers Wayne, Randy (Barb); numerous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.

Eric was a passive soul and formed friendships with people he met.  He was an avid reader and loved visiting with his mom.  They enjoyed spending the day watching their favourite TV shows and having home cooked meals together.    

We wish to thank Elkin and Marina Vergara and their extended family members for the personal care provided to Eric in his retirement years.

Outdoor funeral service will be held at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3H 1B8, on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
