Frances Seymour

It is with great sadness the family of Frances Seymour would like to announce her passing on April 29th, 2020.  She was born on July 24, 1938 during blueberry season on Black Island, MB and grew up on Hecla Island, MB.  After many years living in Calgary Frances moved back to Riverton to be close to her parents and then made a permanent home there. Frances was known for her big smile and her easy laughter. She loved going to Bingo, walking up town and talking and visiting with friends.  She enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren and was proud of their every accomplishment.  She always had a story to share with her family about life growing up in Hecla and friends she made there.

Frances is survived by her daughters Lenore (Harvey); Vivian; Cathy (Bob) and her son Frank; her 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her daughter Geraldine; grandsons Shane and Dustin.  The family would like to thank the ER doctors and nurses at the Selkirk Reginal Health Centre for their kind and caring treatment of our mother.  It meant a lot to us.
