Fred Fedak
With deep sadness the family of Fred Fedak announces his peaceful passing, on July 2, 2020.
Fred was predeceased by his wife Deloris in 2004, siblings Alex, John, Mike and Mary. He leaves behind two sons, Don (Joan) and Jeffrey (Pat); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his siblings, Steve (Ruth), Metro, Pete (Cythia), Doris, Adaline and Anne; his sisters-in-law, Violet Kantimer and Helen (Ron) Meakin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred was born March 5, 1933, in Libau, Manitoba, married Deloris in 1957 and raised their family there. Fred’s passion and joy in life was working in the great outdoors. In summer, he would farm, and in winter, he logged in Northern Manitoba, until he retired in 2002.
A private family service, celebrating his life will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020 in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba. Interment to follow in the Poplar Park Cemetery, Libau, Manitoba
Pallbearers are Henry Mikowski, Carl Mikowski, Kevin Fedak, Jeff Fedak, Edwin Tyslau and Richard Tyslau.
