Gail Lorraine Mason

1946-2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gail Lorraine Mason. Her battle with cancer came to an end on May 15, 2026. She was born on September 06, 1946, in Saint John, NB.

Predeceased by parents George Eric Sleath and Charlotte Natalie Sleath. Survived by her beloved brother Brian Sleath (Lynn), nephew Matthew and niece Heather. Her loving children Chris Mason (Louise), Tracey Cutts (Joel), Scott Mason (Jolene), and Erin Boyd (Angus). Doting grandkids Jordan, Marisa, Ryan, Lauren, Jenna, Michael, Lauchlin and Brooklyn. Loving great- grandchild Mason.

Her whole life was devoted to her family. She was a selfless and loving mother who put everyone else’s needs before her own. A supportive grandmother and adoring great grandmother. She worried about them, rooted for them, protected them, and always provided unconditional love.

Lorraine passed away peacefully surrounded by family, listening to her favorite oldie music, and followed by the sounds of her beloved Blue Jay’s playing her favorite sport to watch, baseball.

She will be greatly missed by all those she’s left behind. She was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and best friend. Her nurturing spirit, unwavering support, selfless ways, and boundless love will forever live on in our hearts.

A private family interment will be held at Cedar Hill-Greenwood Cemetery, Saint John, NB.
