Gloria Barr (nee Farion)
September 14, 1943 - May 7, 2023
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Gloria Barr on May 7. She passed peacefully in her sleep, predeceased by her loving husband, Gordon Barr. She was our caring and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Her memory will endure through her three children Jeffrey, Sheila and Susan (Ken), and her grandchildren Devon, Hana and Erika.
Gloria lived a full life as a wonderful mother and mentor to her family and community. She loved to garden and sew anything and everything for her family. She enjoyed hosting family get-togethers and holiday parties. She would express her love through cooking and keeping the pantry full of snacks. Most of all she loved her family and instilled good values in her children and grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
