Gordon Paull
With heavy hearts, the family of Gordon Paull announces his passing. At the age of 84, and in the care of Extendicare Oakview Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Gordon passed away in the early evening on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Gordon was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 30, 1941, to Katherine (nee Doerksen) and Gordon Staples Paull (Sr.). He graduated from Gordon Bell High School in Winnipeg but had also attended Kelvin High. Gordon was a talented professional boxer in the 1960s, having won multiple bouts against seasoned vets in his weight division. He passed his athletic prowess on to his children at any time they wanted. He studied psychology, sociology, and anthropology at the University of Winnipeg. He spent 30 years as a real estate agent, a dominant part of his identity and through which many bonds of friendship were made or solidified.
Gordon was predeceased by his mother Katherine Paull, father Gordon Staples Paull, and stepmother Jen Paull (nee Rowluck/Zadoronzny), son Robin, and daughter Glory. Left to mourn his loss and pray for the continued development of his soul are his children Andrea, Sumre (Troy), Rainee, Kalam (Kim), Shireen (Tony), and Robin Alexander, stepdaughters Laila and Patrícia, and grandchildren Reyan (Charlie), Autumn, Jax, and Callie as well as ex-wife Diane Paull (nee Seepish), partner Alexis Brown, and ex-wife Denise Volpe.
A Baháʼí funeral service will be held at St. Clement's Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
