Gunnros Bilan (nee Finnbogason)

April 14, 1929 – March 17, 2020

It is with profound sadness that we announce that on March 17, 2020, Gunnros Bilan (nee Finnbogason), aged 90, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Eastgate Lodge, Beausejour, MB.

Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children, Joseph Allan, Baldar (Shelley), Joanne (John) Park and Garnet; grandchildren, Melanie (Bryce) Jago, Dane, Joey, Nicole, Caitlin, Travis, Mark (Matin), Tammy and Kristina; great-grandchildren, Kyrnan, Garrin, Caitlin, Kruize and Ayva, as well as extended family and friends.

Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph, her parents, brothers, sisters and in-laws. Not only was she a mother and grandmother, she was our best friend. Mom was the last of her generation who touched the lives of everyone she met and will be greatly missed by all.

Due to current health crisis, no viewing or services will take place. And upon mom’s request a private family interment with both Gunnros and Joseph will follow at a later date.
