Irene Oresta Christiansen

(née Pomarenski)

Irene Oresta Christiansen, aged 77 years, passed away on November 25th, 2024 in Selkirk, Manitoba.

She is survived by her daughter Tara (partner Tom), grandsons Henry and George; son Kyle, granddaughters Taelyr and Sarah, grandson David (great granddaughter Violet); sister Marlene and brother-in-law Ken.

Irene was predeceased by her husband, David (Dave) in September of 2024, son Todd in 2021, her parents Peter and Adeline Pomarenski and her in-laws Hans and Myrtle Christiansen.

Many thanks to the Selkirk paramedics and the staff of the Selkirk Regional Health Centre for their services and care.

A memorial service will be held for both Irene and Dave on Friday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline Street in Selkirk, Manitoba
