James David Darryl Scott (Jimmy Jam)
December 31, 1965- September 26, 2021
It is with very heavy hearts we announce our brother Jimmy lost his battle with cancer, after putting up a courageous fight for the past 2 years Jimmy is now at eternal rest and free of pain.
Jimmy leaves to mourn his brother Gator (Gail), sister Corinna (Kevin), Carolyn ( Ed ), brother in-law Doyle, nephews Trin, KC, Jamie, Riley, Devin, nieces Gwen, Diane and Tawny, numerous great nieces and nephews who were all so very special to Jimmy. Predeceased by sister Charlene, mother Bernice and father James.
Our little Jimmy Jam was born in Selkirk and raised in the Interlake, Jimmy followed in his big brothers footsteps to work in the mines spending most of his years in Snow Lake. Jimmy Jam had a positive outlook on life and could always put a smile on your face. To know Jimmy Jam was to love Jimmy Jam, he even had a shooter named after him called the “ Jimmy Jam “.
Jimmy was a kid at heart, his happiest moments were making sure his nieces, nephews and cousins were happy having fun enjoying activities such as sliding, swimming, fishing and golfing….making lasting memories of a lifetime.
Forever loved by all, thanks for all your love and memories which we all have close to our hearts. Jimmy Jam, we will all have a special story to share.
Cremation has taken place, a private family celebration of life to be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Cancer Care and St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for all their care, compassion and support.
Rest easy Jimmy Jam, gone but never forgotten. Love you little brother.
