Katie Harder (nee Epp)

May 6, 1926 - May 18, 2018

Peacefully on Friday, May 18 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre, Katie Harder, beloved wife of the late Nick Harder, passed away after a short illness.

Leaving to mourn her loss are her son Ken (Doreen) Harder, daughter Karen (Randy) Dewar, grandchildren Sherri (David) Ambrose, Shaun Harder, Brent (Marie-Lyne) and Nicole Dewar, great-grandchildren Nicholas and Julia Ambrose.

Mom was predeceased by her parents Henry and Anna Epp, brother Hugo and sister Annie in infancy.

Cremation has taken place and to honour our mother’s wishes there will be no service, a private interment will take place at a later date.

Flowers are gratefully declined, if desired a donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

The family would like to thank Selkirk Ambulance Services, Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency and Ward 2 Nurses, doctors and staff and Dr. Zoppa for the excellent care and compassion shown to our mother, she was so grateful to all of you.

“I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new, I thought of you yesterday

and days before that too, I think of you in silence, I often speak your name,

All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake,

with which I’ll never part, God has you in His

keeping, I have you in my heart.”
