Keith Otto Obituary

              Keith William Otto

     May 28, 1960 - March 5, 2024

It is with great sadness the family of Keith Otto announces his sudden passing on March 5th, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. Keith was predeceased by his parents Melvin and Sandra Otto and his nephew Shane King.

He is left to mourn his passing his wife Karen, his children Justin, Jamie and Chantal and his loyal companion Coda. He also leaves to mourn his siblings Debra(Dave) Deprez, Joanne(Raymond) Peitsch, Brenda(Rick) Kubara, Robert(Carol) Otto, Heather Otto Worona (Jim Moore) and Colleen (Gerald) Harder. Along with many nieces, nephews and countless friends and coworkers.

Growing up Keith worked on the farm with his family. Later in life he realized he had a passion for carpentry and worked on many projects for different companies. When his family moved to Selkirk in 2018 Keith worked for Blackcat for two years and enjoyed his time there. He later started working at Canadian Tire in Housewares and eventually became a supervisor/Manager. He enjoyed his job there and made many friendships. He was a popular guy with the customers and always helpful and kind.

Keith loved fishing, hunting, golfing, building, fixing cars and spending time with his family and his dog Coda!

Keith was a great person and really enjoyed having fun. He loved his Budweiser and Clamato. His laugh was very distinctive and you could always find him in a crowd.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk Hospital for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Life will be on April 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Gilbart Funeral Homes in Selkirk, Manitoba with a lunch to follow.

Our love for you will never end! We will miss you so much Keith!
