Kimberly Dawn Jonasson
It is with deep sorrow, the family of Kimberly Dawn Jonasson, 50, of Oak Bluff, Manitoba, announce her passing on January 26, 2026.
Kim will be lovingly remembered by her devoted partner Don Wood, fur baby Leo, family and friends.
Kim is survived by her parents Bill and Karen Jonasson; sisters Jamie (Jas) Atwal and Tara (Jarrod) Malenchak; nieces Aniya, Raina, Emily; nephews Xavier, Zach; grandmother Ella Stolar, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim was known for her compassion, commitment and excellence in her work as a speech-language pathologist. Kim's authentic joy in helping children and her ability to connect with people left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
A Celebration of Kim's Life will take place at Gilbart Funeral Chapel, 309 Eveline Street in Selkirk, Manitoba on February 28, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be livestreamed via the following link https://youtube.com/live/1WAc--KeKME
In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation may be made to The Kim Jonasson Memorial Fund (please ensure Kim's fund name is entered when making a donation) in association with the Westshore Community Foundation Inc. of Gimli, Manitoba. (www.westshorefoundation.ca)
Don and the family would like to thank Kim's Radiologist/ Oncologist Dr. Cooke and her Palliative Care Dr. Cornelius Woelk and Nurse Marnie Cormier for their steadfast care.
Kim will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew her.
