Kristopher Matthew Sandy
January 9, 2006 - February 22, 2025
It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kristopher Sandy at the age of 19. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba but lived his lasting time in the R.M. of St. Clements.
Kristopher is survived by his father Timothy Fitzgerald (uncle Mike, papa), his mother Melanie Sandy (grandma Sharon) , his sisters Cheyenne, Chenelle (Riley), Leah and brother Matthew . Also, his extended family Rob and Simone, Justus, Kerstin, Cole, Danny, Jorden, John and Nathan, and many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Predeceased by grandpa Krist Matthew Kleven (1955-1998) and his grandma Lynda Rozsa (1947-2020).
Kristopher had a profound impact on the lives of many. He will always be remembered by his sense of humor and jokes. He had a unique sense of style of his own. He always had to look good to start the day.
Kristopher graduated grade 12 at the Lord Selkirk Comprehensive School. He was a hard worker, starting at Grand Beach, frying fish and chips the summer he was 16. Then went on to work at Southbeach during his year before graduation. Eventually working as a gas jockey at Wavers in Brokenhead Reserve.
Kristopher was so proud of himself when he bought his first car. He would tell us he's taking the sliver stallion for a cruise. He loved video games and spent most of his time playing online with friends. When he wasn't online, he would walk the property and collect his thoughts. People would remember him for his profound love of philosophy. He would bring his thoughts to our supper meals, which always made it more exciting for everyone. He was all about eating healthy and exercising. He found real enjoyment in going to Selkirk, walking the city and finding a tree to lounge in by the river. Kristopher had a deep-rooted impact on the lives of his family, friends, and community.
Kris' words of wisdom
"Again and again, I will try. Forever and always, each day is another chance. I believe to see divine beauty you must set out on a journey to achieve it. -As to my long walks, a sight of perfected visuals upon and after the walks."
