Larrie Todd Davies Obituary

Larrie Todd Davies

Peacefully, surrounded by his mom, daughter, family, friends, and with his dad at his side in his final moments, Todd was received into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on November 9th, 2019.

He leaves behind to mourn his children Justin (Karsen), Christian, and Kyla (Brendan), mother Geri (Ellis), father Larrie (Doreen), brother Kent, sister Casey (Toon), and nieces Alex (Rene) and Sam. He will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Todd was predeceased by his grandparents Victor and Helga McDonald; Vern and Bessie Davies.

Todd embodied a charming and unique personality characterized by compassion, fierce loyalty, and ability to love deeply. His meticulous work ethic was second to none and fueled his determination to face many challenges and hardships in his life fearlessly. He was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends in nature, on the golf course, or at gatherings, and was excitedly anticipating the arrival of his first grandchild this winter.

A celebration of his life will be held at Gilbart Funeral Home on Saturday, November 16th, at 7:00 p.m, with reception to follow. Thank you to the staff and residents of HSC, Riverview Health Centre, and Tyndall Building for the support and friendship bestowed throughout the last several months of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Todd’s honour to the Patient Activity Fund for Acquired Brain Injury c/o the Tyndall Building (SMHC – 825 Manitoba Ave., Selkirk, MB R1A 0Z3).
