Obituary

LeeAnn Eyssens

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of LeeAnn Eyssens (nee Boyko), at 2:30 a.m. on May 10, 2025 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre. With her family at her side at the age of 77 years old, she will be missed as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and good friend.

Made in England, born in Winnipeg, LeeAnn spent her working career in various fields from waitress to librarian, from lab tech to small business owner, and ending as a Finance manager for many independent car dealerships. After marrying Henry, she retired from the industry to become a woman of leisure, enjoying the RV lifestyle and travelling extensively through Canada and the United States. When not on the road, she would spend hours sewing and embroidering clothes and accessories or golfing with friends.

LeeAnn is survived by her loving husband Henry, son James, son Trevor (Dianne), daughter Tammie (Andrew), son Leigh (Cyndi), daughter Lynne (Donny), and sister Kim (Ron), plus many nieces and nephews as well as many grandchildren. LeeAnn is preceded in death by her father Peter, mother Bettie, and daughter Valerie.

A special thank you to the staff of Selkirk Regional Health Centre for their compassionate assistance in her final hours. Her memorial will take place at Gilbart Funeral Home on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be graciously welcome.
