Linda Dawn Smith, known to all who loved her as Tandy, passed away at dawn on Monday, March 23, 2026. Born Linda Dawn Major on March 6, 1961 in Clinton, Ontario. Tandy grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba and spent the last 40 years living in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation.
Tandy leaves behind to mourn the love of her life, husband Carl Edward, daughter Joni Lee and her granddaughter RyLee Savanna. Daughters Robin, Jessica and all the grandkids and great grandkids. Sisters Cheryl, Judith Major and many nieces and nephews.
Tandy was predeceased by her parents Hilda & Bob Robert Major, baby sister Jaqualine Major and brother Joseph “Joey” Major.

Wake Service: Monday, March 30, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk
