Lona Pauline Maly

April 13, 1929 - Nov.30, 2021

Sadly, we announce Lona’s passing on November 30, 2021at the age of  92. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter, her parents, Peter & Sophia Dutchak & her brother-in-law, Mike Natyna. She leaves to mourn, her daughter, Bev (David), her son, Larry, her grandchildren, Garth, Grant & Amanda, her great granddaughters, Leila & Keeley, her sister, Dolores Natyna, & several nieces & nephews.

Lona was born, raised, & lived in Gimli. She took great pride in her home & gardens. In earlier years, she looked forward to trips to B.C. with Peter to visit the family.

She was also a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church as well as being a long standing member of the Catholic Women’s League.

There will be no funeral service at this time. Interment will be in Gimli Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.

Our family wishes to thank the many caring & patient nurses & staff of Betel Home along with the Doctors in attendance & Gimli Hospital.

Never to be forgotten, sincere thanks to Mrs. Angela Zalevich, Lona’s friend & true Guardian Angel.
