Obituary

Margaret May Skrupski

(nee Gayleard)

Margaret passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, after a short hospitalization. Up until the end Margaret maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, appreciation of beauty, love of family and friends, and expressed gratitude for her long life, full of wonderful and varied experiences.

Margaret’s life can best be encapsulated by five "F" words: Family, Friends, Flowers, Food and Fun. In her 87 years here with us she experienced an abundance of all of them.

Margaret was predeceased by her parents William and Martha Gayleard, her brothers Henry, Wilfred, Alfred and Eddy. She is survived by her sisters Sarah and Betty, daughters Pamela (Ross), Patti (Sheldon), her son Darren (Allison) and grandchildren Emily (Sam), Evan (Jess) and Erik (Haley), as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and clients too numerous to mention here.

Cremation has taken place, and a private graveside service will be held at the St. James Anglican Church cemetery in Poplar Park, MB.

Flowers are gratefully declined, but donations to D’Arcy’s Animal Rescue Center (www.darcysarc.ca) in Margaret’s name would be greatly appreciated.
