Mariette Rose Sophie Furdyk (nee Tremblay)

September 11, 1934 – May 28, 2021

With bittersweet sadness Mariette Rose Sophie Furdyk transitioned on to her next beautiful journey.

With heavy hearts she leaves behind her daughters Rhonda Furdyk and Laurie Massey (nee Furdyk) (Robin).  She also leaves to mourn her grandchildren Lyric Laye, Stasi (Al) Santos, Chantel (Steve) Purves, and Brennan Massey; great-grandchildren Kingsley, Conner, Eric, Casey and Bradleigh; her sisters whom she cherished every day, Yvette Foulliard, Grace Foulliard and Angele Tschetter. Mariette is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mom was predeceased by her infant daughter Michelle; parents Lorenzo and Annette (nee Cadieux) Tremblay; sister Stella Savino (nee Tremblay) and brothers Fern and Gus Tremblay.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and private ceremony will be held when health conditions allow.

If roses grow in heaven,

Please pick a bunch for me,

Place them in my mother’s loving arms,

And tell her there from me.

Tell her that I love her

And when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek

And hold her for a while.

Remembering her is easy

I do it every day,

But there’s an ache within my heart

That will never go away.
