Marvin Marks

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Marvin Marks on January 6th, 2022.

Forever loved and never forgotten by his loving partner of 18 years Arlene; his children Les (Kirsten), Stacey (Scott); his step-children Kurt (Heather), Theresa (Kris), Clayton (Sharmon); grandson Jaxon, step-grandchildren Eva, Beau and Luko.  Also cherishing his memory are his siblings Andy (Linda), James (Charlotte), Laura, Ruth (Richard), Kenny (Marj), Lisa (Andrew), and his treasured nieces and nephews.

Growing up on the farm gave Marvin an appreciation of an honest day’s work.  Through this he learned that no matter how hard the work, family and friends are the cornerstone to a simple and fulfilling life.  This is the spirit that will forever live within us, and his soul will inspire all those that it touched. 

He now walks peacefully hand in hand with his grandson McKenzie and his parents John and Margaret. We take comfort knowing he is no longer in pain and will be looking down on us from above.

A private service will be held at a later date.

A special thank you to all the staff at Gimli Community Health Centre for their care and compassion for Marvin in his final days.
