Mary Sinclair

Peacefully with her family by her side, Mary Sinclair passed away on February 9th, 2024 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 80.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Dell, parents Alex and Rose, and brother Henry Rubiletz. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Cheryl and Karen (David), and her siblings Victor, Edward, Julia, Christine, Bella and their families.

Born in a small town in rural Saskatchewan, Mary was raised on a farm and grew up there before moving to Winnipeg. Mary worked many jobs in Manitoba including time at Nutty Club and The Winnipeg Airport. After settling in the family home in Lockport, MB Mary started working at The Met in Selkirk before finishing her career as a Health Care Aid for the Interlake Regional Health Authority.

Mary enjoyed gardening, baking, spending time with her friends in the Riverside Plaza social club, and spending time with her daughters. Mom loved to watch sports, especially her favourite teams the Winnipeg Jets and the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

As per Mary's wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will not be a formal service. Interment will take place at a later date.

The family wishes to thank the nursing and support staff at the Grace Hospital ICU and the ICMS at St Boniface Hospital.

We love you and we miss you mom, until we meet again. Go Jets Go.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to an animal welfare agency, or to a charity of your choice.
