Obituary

Mary Eva Vincent

July 6, 1935 – May 10, 2023

Mary Vincent passed away on May 10, 2023 at HSC, after a brief struggle with kidney failure. She passed peacefully with her daughter, two granddaughters and family friend by her side.

She was predeceased by her mother Barbara, sisters Evie and Annie, her husband Edward, daughter Adele Schultz, and son Pat.

She is survived by her daughter Sandi Duval,  numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved dearly.

She was born in Regina, where she met her husband while working as a telephone operator. After the birth of Adele they moved to Winnipeg, later moving to Stony Mountain where she remained for most of her life. She lived for several years in Morris and then relocated to Pine Falls to be closer to her remaining daughter and granddaughter.

She loved cats, bingo, travelling, meat draws and her family and friends. She was always willing to help people and was always up for going out for coffee. Any reason to get out and socialize. She could be seen sun tanning on her deck with her tea and cats.

Thank you to the HSC staff on GD2 who cared for her and Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk for her cremation.

As per her wishes there will be no service.
