Maxine Whitwell (Hurrell)

After a short illness at Selkirk Regional Health Centre on September 14, 2020, Maxine, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at 87 years.

 She leaves to mourn her passing her sons Terry (Mary), Jimmy (Cathy), Scott (Irene) and daughter Tracey (Tim) and son-in-law Dennis.  She will also be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kelly (Fred), Debra, Heather (Chris), Denise (Clint), Chelsea, Madison, Wyatt, Bree and Kyle as well as her many great-grandchildren; brothers Marvin and Keith, as well as her special friend Simon. 

Maxine was predeceased by her husband Arthur Whitwell, daughter Tannis Rebizant, brother Errol (Pudgy) Hurrell and her parents Arthur and Amy Hurrell.

Maxine will be remembered for her kind spirit, generosity and her special connection with her grandchildren.

In accordance with Mom’s wishes there will not be a funeral service and cremation has taken place.
