Megan Taylor Obituary

MEGAN GAY TAYLOR

Megan Taylor (nee Nicolson)

Peacefully after a long battle with MS and a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Megan Taylor on March 12, 2020 at the age of 57 with family at her side.

Megan will be forever remembered by Perry her husband of 38 years, their children Brent (Jaime), Keith (Sam), Tanya (Blair) and Chad (Sam); grandchildren Kady, Lily, and Henry McDonald; mother Sabie; siblings Craig (Karen), Margo (Norm), Mark (Jo-anne) and Brad (Sonya); mother-in-law Elizabeth; brother-in-law Dale (Marcia); sister-in-law Donna Lynn (Barry) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Alistair and father-in-law Harold.

Megan was born in Arborg, Manitoba. Her family moved around a bit till they settled in the Petersfield area where she met her soulmate Perry. She stayed home to raise their children till Chad was in school. Then she volunteered at the school where she was asked about being a teacher aide. When she was hired as a substitute, she went to different schools until she ended up getting a position at William S. Patterson where she wanted to be.

The things she liked to do in the last few years were playing games on her iPad, going to watch Survivor with her girls and going to South Beach. But her favourite thing was going with Tanya and the kids anywhere, groceries, zoo, shopping, museum, etc. Also having any of our children home for supper.

Honorary Pallbearers are Sheryl Arnason, Nikki Bruce, Robin Craig and Kathi Long.

We will miss you.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Details to follow.
