Michael (Mike) James Wilson

Peacefully, with his girls by his side, on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Health Sciences Centre, Mike Wilson, aged 73 years of Winnipeg, Mb, passed away.

He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Trish and his parents John and Elsie Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters Meighan (Darrow) and Erin (Greg); grandchildren Emma, Jesse, Jett, Logan, Chanelle, Tonya and Donavon; brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Mike started working at Chrysler Canada when he was 19 years old. He loved all the people he worked with and he took great pride in his job, retiring after 40 years of service as warehouse manager. He enjoyed golfing with friends at Kingswood Golf Course, but most of all Mike loved spending time with his family, always cooking and hosting family gatherings, especially in the summer by the pool.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and when health conditions allow, a Celebration of his Life will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.

In true Mikey fashion, “We are here for a good time not a long time!”
