Mohamed El-Sayed Hawash of Gimli MB , aged 86, passed away on May 11, 2023.

Mo is survived by his three sons, Hassan (Soha), Yussef (Stacy) Omar, their mother, Marie Hawash, grandchildren, Johnny, Elizabeth, Jana, Nate, Joud and many family members in his birthplace of Alexandria, Egypt.

Mo had a long and impactful teaching career in Gimli, Baldur and Winnipeg MB.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
