Obituary

Morgan Wade Penner

Morgan Wade Penner, beloved son, brother, and friend passed away suddenly on December 19, 2022 at the age of 26 at Selkirk Regional Health Centre in Selkirk, Manitoba.

Morgan is survived by his mother and father Penny and Stuart Penner; his brother Kyle Penner and sister Niki Penner; his support Bunny that gave him so much joy, Precious; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Morgan was born in Winnipeg on July 15, 1996 to Stuart Penner and Penny Penner (nee Sadowick). He graduated from High School at River East Collegiate in 2014.  Upon graduating Morgan; the traveller, and free spirit of the siblings, immediately grabbed every scary and exciting opportunity life had to offer and began travelling to different places of the world. He often travelled to underprivileged places and made it his mission to help those in need. He was a spiritual man, who enjoyed hearing peoples stories from all walks of life and had a kinder, more sensitive heart than most people you meet.

Those who crossed paths with Morgan or were lucky enough to have him in their life knew they were blessed to know him. What a beautiful difference one single soul has made during the 26 years he was here with us. The world lost a champion, who fought for his life every day, way too soon, and way too young. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 5, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk, Manitoba. Family friend Rick Wiebe will officiate. Light lunch, refreshments, and gathering  to follow immediately after.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made towards rare brain diseases, the chronically ill, and those with extensive medical costs to https://www.hscfoundation.mb.ca/
