It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, & great-great grandmother, Myrna Frances Benoit passed on July 4/2025 at Seven Oaks Hospital.

Myrna is survived by daughters Donna (Barry) Debbie (Garry) & son Tim stepson Robert. Grandmother to 4 Great-Grandmother to 12 Great-Great Grandmother to 7 and numerous nieces & nephews. Myrna was predeceased by her first husband George Walsh her dad Nelson & her mother Marion Hill, her second husband John Benoit, her brother Jim Hill (Barbara), her sisters Donna McPhail (Doug), Ruth Zelyinski (Elgin), her granddaughter Heather Saunders, her two stepdaughters Joanne (Dan) & Diane and step son Randolph.

Born on September 25,1938 . Myrna loved to keep her siblings happy and on their toes filling them with jokes & joy. Mom married our dad George Walsh in 1956, their time together was short but memorable due to illness. Time passed and mom met John Benoit spark’s flew and they married. Some of mom’s best years years were in Gimli, Manitoba with John. Mom gave richness to all, always had a joke ready to be told. She gave her wisdom when needed and taught us life lessons when needed.

Celebration of Myrna's life will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in 404 Desalaberry Ave. Winnipeg, Manitoba Columbus Centennial Seniors Complex
