Olga V. Valentine (nee Kipling)

July 13, 1946 - March 26, 2018

Olga passed away peacefully to join her mother and father Rita Kipling and Buster Brown, as well as her beloved sister Irene (Thorie) Smith.

Olga leaves to mourn her children, Wayne Valentine, Thomas Valentine, Taylor (Sean) Robbins, Rae (Morgan) and Michelle (Rick) Valentine; as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Matthew (Veronica) his daughter Lillith, Dylan (Chelsey), Jordan, Chris and Sara. She also leaves her very special friend Julie Zarichney, who has stood by her side through thick and thin, and most especially, her big sister Alice Stevenson. Mother also leaves her younger sisters and brother, Stella Kipling, Phyllis Black, and Stanley Kipling, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, most especially Stephen who was her favourite.

A very special thank you to the Selkirk General Hospital Medical 2 unit nurses and staff and Dr. Demsas, for their wonderful, loving care of our mother while she was with them. Thank you as well the Gilbart Funeral Home, for their tender care of mom on her final day.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Selkirk Friendship Center on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at 12noon until 2:00pm. We will be having snacks and refreshments at this time. Everyone is welcome to come for the entire service, or just pop in for a visit!

Since a service will not be held, please send a flower donation to the Selkirk General Hospital in our mothers name.
