Patrick (Pat) Carlson

1964 – 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father Patrick (Pat) Carlson on July 16,2020 at the age of 56.

He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his children Alisha (Kris), Brenden (Danielle); their mother Kristine; granddaughter Taylor; his mother Irene; siblings Yvonne (Jim), Freda, Roy (Colette), Rita (George); many nieces and nephews; good friend Chris as well as many other family and friends.

Pat was pre-deceased by his father Carl Roy Carlson, stepfather Arthur Rach and brother-in-law Bernie.

Pat was born on Feb. 27, 1964 and lived his entire life in Pine falls. He was the youngest of five siblings. At a very young age he started working for Abitibi Price/Pine Falls Paper Co. He would also spend many hours working on the farm with his stepfather Archie.

In 2011 Pat completed his grade 12, with honors through Empower Education Centre.

Pat was a big teddy bear known for his big smile that would light up a room and a personality that everyone loved. He was a lover of Rock N Roll, his 69 Camaro, 3-wheeler riding and snowmobiling. He loved to play backgammon and crib with his children. He had this pet peeve with dandelions. You would always see him outside digging out those yellow flowers only to wake up in the morning to find twice as many.

It was in 1983 he met Kristine and they had two beautiful children together. In 2016 he became a grandfather (Opa) for the very first time to Taylor.

He was so very proud of his children and adored his granddaughter Taylor. She misses her Opa very much!

Cremation has taken place. A private viewing was held for the immediate family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
