Peter Kosowicz
January 24, 1927 - June 4, 2021
Peacefully with his family by his side Peter Kosowicz passed away at the Beausejour Hospital.
He is predeceased by his parents Alex and Martha Kosowicz, brothers Louis, Charlie (Delma) and Stephen (Pauline), sister Olga (Haig) Goff and niece Karen (Richard) Keller.
Uncle Pete leaves to mourn nephews Ken (Betty) Goff, Ross (Gail) Kosowicz and Chuck (Dawn) Kosowicz, nieces Cheryl Kellog, Susan (Peter) Baker and Darlene (Gord) Marsch as well as many great nieces and nephews.
He was born in Gonor, Manitoba where he worked on the family farm as a market gardener, then with his brother Louis, managing the original Halfmoon Dance Hall / Drive Inn in Gonor, Manitoba. He continued to reside on the family homestead all his life.
Uncle Pete would like to thank Peter Baker for all his help and assistance, especially through his later years.
He would also like to thank the nurses, healthcare aids and doctors at Selkirk Hospital, Health Sciences, Grace Hospital and Beausejour Hospital.
At Uncle Pete’s request, he would like the immediate family to hold a private party to celebrate his life and legacy.
