Obituary
On Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Gimli Community Health Centre, Petra Rose Samec, age 75, passed away.
Petra was the beloved partner of Glenn Greenberg, mother to Aleksander and Kalle, sister to Annette and Greg, and daughter of Bill and Mary(both deceased). Petra was born in Winnipeg and later moved to Toronto after graduating from the University of Manitoba. She worked as a compensation advisor for the federal government from 1981 to 2010, during which she made many friends in both Winnipeg and Toronto. Petra was kind, thoughtful, and took great pride in keeping the family history.
Please join our family in celebrating the life of Petra, Saturday, May 10th, 2025, from 2-5 pm at Johnson Hall, Gimli Waterfront Centre, 94 1st Ave, Gimli.
