Raymond Howard Ford
March 18, 1943 - February 11, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Howard Ford on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and family.
Ray is survived by his three loving sons, Randy (Heather), Rick (Kathie), and Russ (Barb), as well as his cherished grandchildren Wade (Megan), Jocelyn, BJ, Brandon, Becca, Emilie, Adam and Zena and great-grandchildren Kaylynn and Isla. His family was his greatest pride and joy, and his impact on their lives will never be forgotten.
Ray lived an incredible life filled with many achievements, but none meant more to him than his family and the successful company—Ford Drilling, a business that has now spanned generations.
Ray was an accomplished bush pilot and would often fly into remote spots to enjoy his passion for the outdoors which included camping, hunting and fishing. Ray was always up for an adventure. Later in life after he hung up his wings you could find him enjoying the Manitoba winters in Florida.
Ray was very quick witted and known for his amazing sense of humour. Spending time with him was always full of laughs.
His dedication, work ethic, and love for his family will always be remembered.
As per his wishes, no formal service will take place, with a private gathering to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
Raymond will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts.
