Richard Stanley Stoykewich

Oct. 11, 1954 – Feb. 20, 2025

After a valiant battle, Rick went to be with the Lord at the age of 70.

He was born in Minnedosa, MB and grew up in Winnipeg.

Rick had a strong work ethic and was known for his desire to help others and for his generosity with his time and resources.

He will be missed by family and friends in Canada and the USA, mother Polly; sister Theresa; brother Christopher and his only nephew and niece Timothy (Chelsey) and Christine; his ex-wife Diana who remained a close friend with him until the end; aunts; uncles; cousins and those whose lives were blessed by his friendship including Doug and his dog Bella.

He was predeceased by his father Walter.

Thank you for all the faith filled prayer support from Canadian and American ministries, friends and family, especially throughout the last few weeks.

Thank you extended to St. Boniface Hospital staff for their care and kindness.

Cremation has taken place at Richard’s request and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
