1947 – 2025
On Tuesday, October 7, 2025, Dick passed away at the Selkirk Regional Heath Centre with his family by his side.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years Marilyn, daughters Lesley (Rob Swain) and Cory-Lynn, grandsons Aaron and Evan (Bailey) and the lights of his life his two great-grandchildren Hazel and Henry Swain all of Winnipeg. Also left to mourn his passing is his twin brother Jim of Altamont, Mb.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the dialysis team in Selkirk, their care and compassion over the past 3 years has been above and beyond.
As per his request, no formal service will be held. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be performed at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba, 209-2211 McPhillips St. Winnipeg, MB R2V 3M5.
Now you can be with the dog you never wanted (Mylah).
Rest easy Papa, you will never be forgotten.
