Obituary

Richard Alfred Marsh

Suddenly after a brief illness, surrounded by family, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Health Sciences Centre, Rick Marsh, aged 69 years of Winnipeg, MB passed away.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Wilma (nee Murdock); son Adam (Erin); daughter Lillian; grandchildren Summer, Autumn, Chasity, Jailynn, Tayler, Alix, Haylen and Liam; 2 great-grandchildren; brother Raymond (Elloise) and Jim (Pat) as well as extended family and friends.

Rick was born to Cecil and Lillian on October 30, 1953, in Winnipeg. He was raised in the Brooklands area and attended Brooklands Collegiate and St. James Collegiate.

He was a kind, gentle man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He loved motorcycles, the Bombers and hockey, especially playing the game. But above all he loved his family.

Thank you to the Drs. and nurses on the MICU at Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion shown to Rick and his family.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. The service will be livestreamed via the following link https://youtu.be/70GoHpTtjqk
