It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Brian Halldorsson, who left us on October 18, 2025, while out in the fields he loved, beneath the open sky.

Predeceased by his mother Ruth Halldorsson. Robert will be forever loved and remembered by his children: Son; Zack Halldorsson (Harlee) grandchildren; Kailey-Ann, Mason, and Finna. Daughter; Holly Hastings (Justin) grandchildren; Addy-Lou, Daimen, Julie, and Robin. His father; Brian Halldorsson. His sister; Lisa Magalas (Scott). His nephews: Ryan and Tanner Magalas. His uncle Henry and aunt Betty. His aunt Louise. And many more family and friends.

Born in Selkirk, Manitoba, Robert lived a life full of laughter, family, and a deep love for the outdoors. In his youth, he was passionate about hockey, but his greatest joy was found in hunting, fishing, and being surrounded by nature. Skills he learned from his dad Brian and uncle Henry. 

A service to celebrate Robert’s life will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Home on Monday, November 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
