Robert John Sims

April 4, 1949 – September 15, 2022

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my beloved husband, father to my son Ramsey, friend to so many.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Edwin and Flora. He is survived by his loving wife Jan and many relatives.

He had 25 years service at Versatile Farm Equipment. His greatest joys in retirement were marshalling at Granite Hills Golf Course and was honoured to be a volunteer firefighter for the Bird River Fire Department. Bob loved his cats, baseball, fishing and music. He will be remembered for his kindness and compassion.

When we kissed goodbye that morning, I never thought it would be the last kiss. Remember to hug your loved ones every day.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk.
