In Loving Memory of Roger Carriere
July 6, 1943 – April 30, 2025
With heavy hearts but grateful spirits, we announce the passing of Roger Carriere on April 30, 2025, at the age of 81. Born in Flin Flon, Manitoba, on July 6, 1943, Roger lived a full and vibrant life marked by hard work, adventure, and deep love for his family.
Roger was a devoted husband to Roberta and a proud father to his daughters Leah (Dan Roche) and Lori (Todd Thurston). He was predeceased by his parents Armand and Jeanne Carriere and two siblings. He was a cherished brother, brother-in-law, and friend to many.
Roger spent his career as a skilled autobody mechanic. He had a love to build and renovated 8 homes and two cottages.
After retirement, Roger and Roberta embraced their love for travel, exploring the world together and spending countless joyful winters in Mexico. His warm smile, storytelling, sense of humour and adventurous spirit will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Join us to celebrate and share memories of Roger’s well lived life to be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk.
