Roxanne Guimond

It is with deep sadness that the family of Roxanne Guimond (Rising Above the Sun Women) announced her passing on February 3rd 2026 at the age of 37.

Roxanne will be remembered by her loving daughters Paytience, Paysley, and Neleah, her step children Angel, Cayden, Nelson Jr and Cayleen. Her siblings Charlene, Ashley(Ashley), Kelvin (Corise), Sheila(Clinton sr), Jamie, Larry and Robert, many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was the god mother to Clinton Jr, Hunter, Zaydon, and Dayson and was predeceased by her grandparents Stanley, Agnus, Clarence and Rose Guimond. Her parents Marcel Guimond and Barbara Guimond, her step father Clifford Carver; and her siblings Gordon and Kimberly.

Roxanne was well known as a great auntie to all the kids that were apart of her life, she always looked after her family and friends with an open and caring heart. She always had you laughing with her crazy humor, she was very close to her siblings whenever they got together it was nothing but a good time. Roxanne was a great mother to her girls, she was an amazing daughter, sister, auntie, niece, godmother, cousin, and friend to everyone, she will be missed dearly.

There will be a wake service held at PTCMH in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation starting Wednesday, February 11th 2026 until Thursday, February 12th 2026. Funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13th 2026 at PTCMH.
