SHARON KATHLEEN JONES (nee Rafnson)

September 25, 1938 - March 25, 2023

Peacefully and with her daughter and family by her side, Sharon went to meet her Lord and Saviour.

She leaves behind her children Kathleen (Allan), Kenneth (Eileen) and Gary, sisters Dallas (Ed), Nancy, sister-in-law Thelma and daughter-in-law Diana. She is predeceased by her husband Richard, son Micheal, brothers Scott & Norman and granddaughter-in-law Jennifer. Also left to cherish her memory are her 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and their families as well as her best friend and honourary sister, Claudia and husband Dan.

Sharon loved her family dearly and cherished every moment she had with them. She always boasted about her grandchildren to anyone who would listen. She was a friend to all she met and was extremely giving. Sharon loved spending time outdoors with her husband and was always looking for her next adventure. Sharon and Richard loved to camp at Otter Falls and Nutimik Lake, go on long day trips through the country and take regular trips to McDonald’s. She was famous amongst her family for her homemade fudgesicles & dill pickles.

We love you Mom and Gramma. While our hearts are heavy, we are so happy you are now at peace. Your memory will live on forever in our hearts. A memorial service with family was held. The service may be viewed via the following link https://youtu.be/7dmwhCWftmM
