Shawn Keith Langlois 

April 17th, 1972 - August 20th, 2023

It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Shawn.  Shawn passed peacefully in his sleep at home with his father Ricky, and son Harlan after a long battle with heart disease. 

 Shawn was born on April 17th 1972 in Selkirk, Manitoba to his parents Ricky Langlois and Barbara Langlois.

Shawn thrived in leadership roles managing in  manufacturing companies, but his true passion was wrestling,  something that he made sure to pass on to his son.  Shawn was a big part of the local wrestling community known as Mr. Nasty, he competed with SteelTown Pro Wrestling and once wrestled with Billy Blaze, Chris Turkish, Mark Merric, Big Cliff, Rob Stardom, and Mike Misfit from professional wrestling. 

Shawn was predeceased by his mom, Barbara Langlois and is survived by his father Ricky Langlois,  sons Harlan Langlois,  Owen Schofield and life partner Ashleigh Schofield. 

Shawn is also survived by his friends Garrett, Chris Turkich, Quint, Big J, Woody, Mike and predeceased by Cal, who were like brothers to him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel; 309 Eveline St, Selkirk Mb, for those who cannot make it to the celebration, it will be livestreamed via the following link https://youtube.com/live/ENDy-KxEdQI
