Shirley Irene Ditchfield 

June 24, 1949 - September 7, 2025

Shirley was born in Selkirk but throughout her life lived in Selkirk, Winnipeg and Calgary. Her final years of retirement were spent in Winnipeg. 

Shirl was predeceased by her special friend and partner Patrick Harcus, her grandparents Walter and Victoria Stranger, her parents Edwin and Viola Kirchen, siblings Elizabeth, Gordon and Vicky, her favorite cousin and best friend Naomi Bird and many other family and friends. 

Shirley leaves to mourn her children Zana (Shane), Tracy (Gerald), Dawn and Tobi, grandchildren Morgan, Maddie, Jacob, Rhylee-Dawn and Nikolas and her siblings Lawrence, Corene, Brenda, Kenny, Barbara, Diana, Janet and Dorothy and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 noon to 4 pm at the Holy Eucharist Parish Centre, 460 Munroe Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
