July 21st 1959-April 4, 2024

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Darlene Hayward, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Shirley was predeceased by her partner Billy Dagg (2009), father Thomas Hayward (2019) and brother Christopher Hayward (2021). She will be greatly missed by her children Shane and Jessica, two granddaughters Lily-Jade and Lilah-Rose, mother Gladys Hayward, sister Dianne (Bud) Hay, nieces Stephanie Hay, Kayla (Sergio) Scaramuzzi and nephew Geordie Hay. Along with countless friends and family. As her father before her, Shirley enjoyed spending summers at the family cabin at Ottermere Lake ON. where she would wake up early just to enjoy the sunrise and a cup of coffee on the deck. Shirley was always willing to help others in need, because of this and so many more reasons she will be greatly missed by so many. A donation in memory of Shirley may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be planned for a later date.
