Stella Marie Robinson (nee Gaudet)
April 30, 1931 - April 1, 2025
It is with heavy hearts we sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt; after a short illness at St Boniface hospital.
Mom was predeceased by her dear husband and our father Robbie in August 2021, and her parents Joseph and Oselie Gaudet (nee Landry) and her five siblings Armand, Ernest, Mary, Leona and Laurie.
Mom is survived by daughters Patricia (Randy Papuschak), and Susan (Andreas Rodewald) and sons Thomas (Diane) and Paul. She was a very proud Grammy to her grandchildren Kathryn ((Matthew Kymanick) and Hayley Papuschuk (Jason Shumilak); Rebecca (Dennis Jordan), Tyler Robinson (Leshai) and Cody Robinson and great-grandchildren Jacob and Charlie Kymanick, Xavier Shumilak, Ashley Morphy and Henry Westman. Also much loved nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.
Mom lived a long happy life and thoroughly enjoyed the company of her family and her many friends from Mapleton Lanes and Woodland Courts. She enjoyed watching her Winnipeg Jets, Toronto Blue Jays and was a huge fan of curling especially Brad Gushue! She also loved bingo, card games with family and her casino trips. Her independence meant so much to her...she was so fortunate to be able to drive herself around right up until her illness. We would like to thank Joanne from Mapleton for taking Mom on those little play dates at South Beach... She enjoyed those days so much!
Our family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks and gratefulness to the kind doctors, nurses and aides at Selkirk Hospital and St. Boniface Hospital. ..you are all truly angels on earth!
