Sue Lavallee Obituary

Sue Lavallee

October 15, 1967- January 27, 2023

Sue Lavallee found out her time was limited on this earth due to an illness that has tragically touched too many people and their families. She had the privilege to spend her time to the fullest by celebrating Christmas, enjoying family traditions with her husband Larry, children Cole & Brittany (partners Cassie & Joel), beautiful grandchildren Cara & Trent, brother and sister-in-law Ron & Andrea Lavallee. Endless hours were spent each day visiting, having heart felt moments with her mother Marvel Obsnuk and all those closest her. She was an incredibly strong woman and had a way of viewing life with gratitude, making it easier for Sue’s family to follow her lead during this tough time.

Sue and Larry are both blessed with a large family tree (too many to name), nevertheless she had a unique and special relationship with everyone. She always had a way of bringing her family together, organizing eventful celebrations at her home in St. Andrews to honor milestones. During her adventures of life with her husband who served in the RCMP, she made many friends and shared memories all over Manitoba. Sue held an important and admirable value to always support and care for others around her. She supported her husband and children, heavily involved in all their endeavors. Sue was very physically active and a hard-working person, another one of her admirable traits. She enjoyed being in the presence of nature; quading in Camperville with the Lavallee's, kayaking in Steep Rock, swimming, camping, gardening, and often spent time outside during all seasons at her home. Gifted with many creative talents, she constantly had DIY (do it yourself) projects on the go usually in interior and exterior design. Sue never seized to amaze us with her values and talents.

Sue will be remembered by the foot prints she left on this earth and in our hearts. Her soul and memories will live on forever, joining all her guardian angels in heaven. Including, her late father Daniel Obsnuk, sister Brenda Culbertson, mother and father-in-law Gertrude & Robert Lavallee.
