Obituary

Susan Mary Rivers

  Peacefully, on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Selkirk Regional Health Centre, Susan Rivers, aged 65 years of St. Andrews, Manitoba, beloved wife of Bill passed away.

  Susan was born May 11, 1957 and is survived by her husband Bill of 43 years. She was predeceased by both her parents John and Annie Pike and brother Wayne. Susan’s career was with MPI in Selkirk and moved to other locations and returned to Selkirk until her retirement. She was with MPI over 30 years.

  Susan loved the outdoors, gardening, her gazebo but most of all she loved her dogs and cats. Susan and Bill travelled extensively landing in Arizona for the last 12 years. Susan’s love of adventure lead her to getting her motorcycle license and her love of nice cars lead her to her SSR.

  Bill wishes to send a thank you to the compassionate staff at the Selkirk Regional Heath Center and the Medicine Ward and Dr. Lindenschmidt . The kindness and professionalism shown was greatly appreciated.

  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Selkirk Regional Health Center.
