SYLVIA KINDZIERSKI (nee Densley)

1934 -2024

 It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sylvia Kindzierski (nee Densley), aged 90 years, of Arborg, Manitoba on December 28, 2024 at the Gimli Community Health Centre.

Sylvia was born July 2, 1934 in Riverton, MB.  She will be sadly missed by her children; Pat, Charles (Wendy), Pauline (Rick), Harold (Deanna), Derek and Jim (Marlene); grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  Mom is survived by her sisters Lorraine (Albert), Dolly (Cam) and brother Jim. She was predeceased by her husband John, father Harold, mother Sigurros, brothers Bobo and Edward, sisters Joyce and Irene, and son-in-law George.

 She worked for many years at the personal care home in Arborg, she really enjoyed interacting with her clients.

 Mom's sport of choice was curling. She was very proud of winning many trophies with our dad.

 In her later years, she enjoyed going to the Legion for the meat draws and she would win almost every time she went.

 A luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at the Arborg Legion.  Cremation has taken place and a family interment of ashes will be at Arborg Community Cemetery prior to the luncheon.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke foundation or Cancer Care. 

 The family would like to thank the staff of Gimli Community Health Centre and Arborg Assisted Living as well as Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk.
