Walter Bosko Obituary

Walter Bosko

December 30, 1930 – January 9, 2022

Dad passed away peacefully on January 9, 2022 at the Betel Care Home in Selkirk, Mb.

Dad was predeceased by his wife Grace in which they were married for 57 years, together they had three children Chad (Marlene), Susan (Lorne) and Lori (Ed) and grandchildren Megan (Dustin), Cole, Owen and Joey and great granddaughter Cora Grace.

Dad started work as a bush camp cook where he perfected his pie making skills. Later on Dad landed a job at Canada Packers where he met the love of his life Grace, here is where he would spend the remainder of his working years.

When Dad wasn’t at work you could find him in the garden, weeding, tilling or tending his strawberry patch. Summer weekends were spent camping and fishing with family, but Dad’s favorite was ice fishing with his brother Clarence and nephew Jim.

When Dad retired in 1988 he enjoyed spending time with his family and doing the things he loved most.

Many thanks to the staff at the Betel Home for the great work they do and making Dad comfortable.
